The Garden Suite has a keyed-gate entrance to your exclusive fully-fenced garden, featuring mature trees, native shade plants and a small clover lawn. Minimal care is required. The east facing deck has a gas barbecue for outdoor entertaining; a great space in which to enjoy your morning coffee.

You enter the one bedroom Suite from the deck. The suite is soundproofed to create a quiet peaceful space to call your own.

The main floor includes a large kitchen with all major appliances (gas stove with external fan vent and light, fridge with freezer drawers, convection/microwave oven, and dishwasher). A bar sink is located in a separate cabinet. There is space for a kitchen table and chairs.

The sitting area has a gas fireplace and two windows that open, a counter space for computer/office with two ergo dynamic stools.

A small one piece bathroom is tucked between the kitchen and sitting area for your convenience.

A coat closet contains the hose and attachments for the Vacuflo central vac system.

Upstairs are the bedroom, main bathroom and laundry. There are lighting sconces on the wall for reading in bed, a sink in a large cabinet, a toilet, a tiled shower which is also a steam bath, and a washer and dryer (apartment size). The bath area has heated floors.

There are two E-gress windows in the upper floor. The suite is heated with forced air gas furnace. There is central air conditioning in the house and a separate air conditioner in the bedroom to chill the room quickly on extreme heat days/nights in the summer.

Waterford House is in an well established quiet neighbourhood on the edge of Peterborough’s vibrant downtown. You can walk to restaurants, entertainment and cinema, shopping, banking, and sports and exercise venues.

The Canada Trail and a trails network is just around the corner from the house; popular with dog walkers, bird watchers, cyclists, walkers, joggers and skiers, with a walking bridge over the Otonabee River just behind the house. Trails lead along the river in both directions, to Trent U., Lakefield, Hastings, west to Omemee and Lindsay and beyond.
